Little things like thanking people when they hold the elevator for you, or allowing you to cut in line does much for them. Sometimes it is all they can give, and accepting that 'give' helps foster more.

With Christmas around the corner there is much talk about over commercialism. This is a very interesting perspective I had not considered. Thank you for sharing this story.

I love this. I feel it's one of the healthiest ways to view the situation. Money, energy and human interaction seem like synonyms to me and I find when they're viewed separately, it becomes easier to misunderstand. I wrote an article recently about teamwork, volunteering, donating and investing. Whether we're referring to time, money or something else. And the whole concept of a team can be extended to the concept of a global community or global consciousness in which each member involved gives and receives money, energy and interaction with dignity, poise and perfect timing in order to lift up and elevate everybody.

This is the article, check it out! http://spiritsentient.com/theres-no-i-in-team

Glad you liked the idea of money being a symbol for human energy - it's a useful way to look at it.

I learned a lot from the Thai monks, just from being around them. If you quieten down and watch what is going on around you, you can more easily tune into what is happening, and the right response to circumstances more easily comes forth...

Money is a symbol of human energy? I've never thought of it that way! This idea is quite radical.

I liked when I read of Thai monks working togather as if they were one single organism. When people are less assertive about their ego, they can work and think as one. Its nice when we think less about our individual selves and work selflessly for a common goal.
